Service Description

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based training program that teaches individuals how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health or substance use challenges. It provides skills to offer initial support—similar to traditional first aid—connecting people in distress with appropriate professional, peer, and self-help care. This course is offered in half-day sessions (3.5 hours each). These are scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. You must attend both to be fully certified. Please schedule for the Wednesday that you would like to begin Part 1. Part 2 will be scheduled by email.
